In Amazon.com's Electronics department there is a new listing of netbooks offered with mobile broadband contracts from wireless carriers. Currently there are 5 HP, Dell and Acer netbooks listed, offered by AT&T and Verizon Wireless in this category.
None of these 5 netbooks ships with a Linux based operating system, which will hopefully change as we can make out a trend towards low-end netbooks with built-in 3G modules from this year's COMPUTEX in Taipei.
Be sure to read the fine print of the contracts to make sure the discount off the netbook price actually pays off.
