Cherrypal recently released their latest product, the 7" Cherrypal Africa mini-laptop, that can be ordered for an initial price of US $99. The Cherrypal Africa is powered by an 400 MHz processor, allegedly an ARM9-based Samsung S3C2450, comes with 256MB DDR RAM, a 2GB NAND based flash-drive and is available with either Green Maraschino (GMo) Linux or Windows CE.

The new Bing laptop was announced as the first truly green netbook at the Sundance Film Festival by its manufacturer Cherrypal. The Bing has a 10.2" TFT screen with 1024 x 600 wide-screen resolution and is powered by the Intel Atom N270 processor.
This netbook comes with 1 GB DDRII memory, a 160 GB hard drive, 3 USB 2.0 ports, an SD/MMC/MS card slot, built-in Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 b/g), microphone, dual speakers, and a 1.3MP web camera. The battery is claimed to last for 5 hours.
