Micro-Star International's (MSI) Wind netbook was first announced at CeBIT 2008. WIND is an acronym that stands for "Wi-Fi Network Device" laying the focus on wireless networking.
The MSI Wind has a 10" LCD screen with a maximum resolution of 1024x600px. The Linux version comes with 512 MB RAM extendable up to 2 GB, an 80 GB 2.5" hard drive, and an Intel Atom 45-nm processor running at 1.6 GHz. The 3-cell battery lasts for up 2.5 hours.
