This video by khanh demonstrates Final Fantasy VII being played on a basic ASUS Eee PC 701 running Xandros Linux without CPU overclocking or hardware upgrades. To play Final Fantasy he installed the Linux package of the pSX emulator and did some additional tweaking as described in the blog post Final Fantasy VII on the Asus Eee PC running pSX for Xandros.

In the video two ASUS Eee PC 900 netbooks are first booted, then Firefox is launched, and finally they are shutdown. One has been running Xandros Linux and the other Windows XP for one month each.
The LinuxEee boots faster and is shutdown quite some time before the XPEee. There is no hint what additional software packages are installed on the two machines and which of them are automatically started.
