The Mobii ION 230 is powered by the energy-efficient 1.6 GHz Intel Atom 230 CPU and the NVIDIA ION graphics chipset. The ION GPU is DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0 enabled and powers a 10.2" 1024x600 LED LCD screen.
The netbook comes with 1GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB hard disk drive, SD/MMC card reader, Wireless-G networking, 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN, 1.3M pixels webcam, 1x microphone IN, 1x headphone OUT, 2x 1w built-in speakers, 2x USB 2.0 ports, and a standard 4400mAh 6-cell battery with a specified battery life of up to 4 hours.
The standard operating system of the Mobii ION 230 is Linux, but there is no indication which distro is used. If you know it, please tell it in the comments. The Mobii netbook is available in several countries in Europe, Asia and South America, but so far neither in the US or Canada. In Germany you can buy the Mobii on Amazon.de for prices between EUR 309.00 (about US $439) and EUR 357.44 (about US $508).
