Here is another non-tablet device that Charbax from ARMdevices spotted at CES 2011. This 7" mini-laptop from Japanese company NEC is equipped with an ARM Cortex-A9 CPU based on NVIDIA's Tegra 2 platform. It runs Android 2.2, has a full QWERTY keyboard, and weighs about 1.3 lbs.

Lots of fascinating new devices were showcased during past week's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. In addition to marketing new products events like the CES serve as an opportunity to demonstrate what technology can do. Naturally, some of those feats may not prove particularly useful, but they are fun to watch anyway.
Samsung showcased a large number of netbooks at CES 2010, but according to Ars Technica there was one netbook that attracted the most attention, the Samsung N127 running Moblin. Considering that the hardware specs of the N127 are pretty standard, basically the same as the Samsung N130, it must have been the Linux based software that got people interested.
