Today at CeBIT, Intel introduced the 4th generation of the classmate PC, a convertible 10" touchscreen mini laptop powered by a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor.
At the press event in Hannover Sascha from Netbook News had the chance to get his hands-on the rugged device and could not resist to try, if it still works after letting it fall to the ground. Check out the video to see for yourself.
The demo model is running a custom branded version of Moblin 2.1, which doesn't support the touch capabilities of the laptop. Pretty awkward or kind of bad as Sascha calls it.
Still, the Gen4 classmate PC makes a good impression and offers many improvements compared to predecessors like the 2goPC or the 1st generation of the convertible classmate.
