HP 2133 Booting Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.04

This video shows the netbook edition of Ubuntu Lucid Lynx being booted on an HP 2133 Mini-Note netbook. There is hardly more to say except that the boot time is about 1' 20" with the following drivers working: B43 wifi driver, Bluetooth, OpenChrome VGA, Webcam, and ALSA 1.0.23 sound card.

An issue noted in the video description is muting the sound card in hibernate mode, which supposedly does not work on this system.

1'20" is pretty slow, suppose this HP model as a really slow HDD, not a SDD. I don't understand this kind of configuration for mobility, should be faster on a eeepc701 from 2007.

Agree, this is certainly not

Agree, this is certainly not a convincing benchmark. I wonder why we don't see more netbooks with SSD instead of HDD. Maybe it's because larger numbers, in this case for storage capacity, is more appealing to potential customers.

Be patient.
