The latest Chromebook by Acer, the C720-3871, is powered by a 4th Generation Intel Core i3 processor, comes with 2GB RAM, a 32GB solid-state drive, has an 11.6inch screen and boasts 8.5 hours of battery life.
Moreover, it is equipped with WiFI 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, a built-in HD Webcam, 2 built-in speakers, 1x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, 1x HDMI, a full-size Acer FineTip Keyboard, and a multi-gesture touchpad. Obviously the laptop comes pre-installed with Chrome OS.
At the time of writing the Acer C720-3871 is available for pre-order in the US. Not sure how the higher initial price is justified comparing it to its predecessor, but there seems to be a trend of making Chromebooks a little pricier without offering that much more or am I missing something?
