The Acer C720P Chromebook is the successor of the Acer C720, the main notable differences spec wise are more storage memory 32 GB vs 16 GB SSD, only a 2GB RAM option, slightly more weight, and with up 7.5 hours battery life, 1 hour less.
Same as the C720 the C720P is powered by a dual-core 1.4 GHz Intel Celeron 2955U processor (Haswell micro-architecture), has a 11.6" HD widescreen LED touchscreen display, an Intel HD graphics chip with 128 MB RAM, 1x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, 1x HDMI™ ports, a full-size Acer FineTip keyboard, and a multi-gesture touchpad.
Unsurprisingly the Acer C720P Chromebook runs Chrome OS and is offered with some perks: 2 years of free 100GB Google Drive storage and 12 free Gogo in-air Internet passes, restricted to continental U.S. flights of participating airlines. Nothing I could make any use of, but maybe nice add-ons for some people.
The C720P was offered for an initial price of US $299.99, which is considerably more than the initial $249.99 of the predecessor model.
