The ASUS Chromebook C200MA-DS01 is an 11.6-inch laptop powered by the energy-efficient 2.1GHz dual-core Intel Bay Trail N2830 processor. It is the first Chromebook ASUS throws on the market and there will also be a 13.3-inch model (C300) being released in the coming months.
Apart from a processor, that is more powerful than the ones many other Chromebook models are equipped with, the ASUS Chromebook boasts up to 10 hours of battery life, which is pretty awesome if you ask me. It's a bit disappointing that it only comes with 2GB RAM, not sure if that can be upgraded.
The remaining specs are more or less typical for a Chromebook of that size: 720p HD camera, 16GB SSD, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac2 dual-band, Bluetooth 4.0, 1 x USB2.0 port + 1 x USB 3.0 port, 1 x HDMI 1.4, 1 x audio jack combo and 1 x SD card slot.
The ASUS Chromebook C200MA-DS01 was offered for an initial price of $249.
