The ASUS Chromebook C300 is the larger alternative to the 11.6" C200 chromebook released earlier this year by ASUS. It is powered by the same CPU, a 2.16 GHz dual-core Intel Bay Trail N2830 processor, comes with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB eMMC storage.
The ASUS C300 has a 13.3" HD LED display and is equipped with a 1.2MP camera. 1x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, HDMI, SD card slot(SDXC), Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 A/C wireless and offers up to 10 hours of battery life. The laptop running Google's Chrome OS was offered for an initial price of $299.
Why are there so few Chromebooks that come with more than 2GB RAM, is this to discourage people from installing another operating system? What do you think?
