The latest Chromebook by ASUS is one of the few convertible Chromebooks on the market to date — the 2 other I'm aware of are the Lenovo IdeaPad N20p Chromebook and the Lenovo N20 Chromebook. Its 10-finger IPS touchscreen can be flipped over from 0 to 360 degree so it can be used in laptop or tablet mode.
Furthermore the 10.1" screen device with an aluminum chassis is the lightest Chromebook weighing only 1.96 pounds and among those that offer the best battery life with up to 13 hours making it a very attractive device for mobile use.
This Chromebook is powered by a 1.8 GHz quad-core Rockchip 3288-C processor and equipped with 16 GB SSD, 2 GB RAM, WiFi 802.11 a/c, an HD Webcam, 2 x USB 2.0 and 1 x micro HDMI ports, a MicroSD card reader and Bluetooth 4.1.
The ASUS Flip C100PA-DB01 was offered for an initial price of $287.45, a very competitive price considering the hardware and mobility features.
