ASUS Eee PCs Running Ubuntu Announced

It looks as if there is a revival of Linux on netbooks taking place these days. There will be several netbooks running Chrome OS available soon, MeeGo netbooks were showcased at Computex and most recently Ubuntu joined in with the 1001PXD, 1011PX and 1015PX Eee PC models that are available in Europe through ASUS sales channels.

In Canonical's press release many more models are announced for 2011. I assume that Linux based netbooks will target the lower price range of netbooks, still I expect to see more powerful models as weel. Right now it looks like Ubuntu, MeeGo, and Chrome OS are the systems of choice. Do you see any other possible Linux based candidates that may come pre-installed?
