HEXA Electronics is a company founded in 2007, whose headquaters are in Toronto, Canada. In 2014 HEXA released their first Chromebook named after the mathematical constant π (Pi) on March 14 a.k.a. Pi Day.
Compared to current models the technical specifications for the HEXA Chromebook π are certainly not overwhelming: 11.6-inch screen, 1.7 GHz dual-core Intel Celeron N2830 processor, 4 GB RAM (not bad), 32 GB eMMC storage, 1 x USB 2.0 and 1 x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port and a 1.3MP Webcam.
While 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage are nice, though the latter is eMMC and not SSD, 7 hours of battery life is certainly on the lower end of Chromebook metrics. The HEXA Chromebook π had an initial price of CDN$ 295.59 and can be ordered on the HEXA Website.
