The HP Chromebook 14 is a Chrome OS laptop with 14-inch diagonal HD display powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Intel Celeron 2955U processor. As far as I know it is the largest screen in a Chromebook so far with a native screen resolution of "only" 1366x768, which I consider a missed opportunity.

Obviously this device is larger and heavier than the HP Chromebook 14, also its processor has a lower clock rate. The biggest pro in comparison apart from the bigger screen is the longer battery life with up to 9 hours of use.

The rest of the hardware specs is somewhat standard for current Chromebooks: 2 GB RAM, 16 GB solid-state drive, HP TrueVision HD Webcam (720p), a full-size keyboard, and 3 USB ports.

The "large" screen and long battery life are the 2 main selling points of the HP Chromebook 14 compared to the other Chromebooks on the market. Considering the recommended retail price it is the most expensive Chromebook excluding the Chromebook Pixel.

If you're looking for a Chromebook with a larger screen than the usual 11.6 inch, I think the Toshiba CB35-A3120 is the more attractive offer right now.
