The HP Chromebook 14-x050nr is a Chrome OS laptop with 14-inch diagonal full-HD display powered by a 2 GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor.
In addition to the full-HD display this model "boasts" 4GB RAM and a 32GB solid-state drive, which makes it one of the more powerful Chromebook models with a wider usage range than lower spec models.
The remaining hardware specs are pretty standard: HP TrueVision HD Webcam (720p), built-in microphone, full-size keyboard, 3 USB (1x3.0 + 2x2.0) ports, 1 microSD media card reader.
The full-HD screen and 4GB RAM are the 2 main selling points of the HP Chromebook 14-x050nr if you ask me. Whether the comparatively high initial price is justified, is a different question though considering that the similarly powerful Toshiba CB35-B3340 Chromebook 2 costs about $50 less. As a cheaper and obviously less powerful alternative HP also recently released the HP Chromebook 14-x030nr.
