Yesterday Mandriva Linux 2010 was released. The latest version, code named Adelie, introduces a new technology called Smart desktop that is task oriented and improves organization of personal data, like email, documents, photos, and videos through the use of annotations, comments, and tags.
The new release also features improved boot times, 3 new desktop themes, and several desktop environments including GNOME, KDE, and Moblin, which is briefly demoed in the video, especially for use on mobile devices like netbooks.
