Acer showcased this new Chromebook at CES 2015, which currently takes place in Las Vegas: the Acer Chromebook 15. With a 15.6 inch screen it is the biggest Chromebook to date.
The Acer Chromebook 15 has a full-HD display with 1920x1080 resolution and is powered by an Intel Core i3 or next generation Intel Celeron processor. Customers will have a choice of 2 or 4 GB RAM and 16 or 32 GB SSD with prices starting at US $250.
Being the biggest Chromebook (15.4w x 10.08d x 0.95h inches) so far, the Acer Chromebook 15 also weighs more than others with 4.8 lbs (2.2 kg).
In the short hands-on video by MOBILEGEEKS you get a first impression of this upcoming Chromebook. In the beginning the device feels solid to Nicole, but when she touches the screen and the lid near the end it seems a bit week and you realize that there is a reason for the very competitive price.
