In this video Robby Payne reviews the 4 GB version of the ASUS Chromebook Flip (C100PA-DB02), which he got sent by ASUS as a new member of their media review team.
Build quality-wise the ASUS Flip is the most impressive Chromebook Robby has seen so far, except for the Chromebook Pixel, which still is in its own league. The Flip also has a very good screen and viewing angle and handles heavy Websites like The Verge, Engadget, and YouTube very well.
Robby used the Flip mainly as a content consumption device at home, where the possibility to use it in tablet mode is obviously very convenient. It is not meant for heavy work though. While, it runs Crouton pretty well, at least the kind of applications Robby uses, the ARM based processor has its limitations.
So, as with every device, depending on your personal use-case this may be a very suitable device or not. Robby, at any rate, thinks it is a very impressive, versatile, affordable, and beautiful Chromebook.
