This is a quick demo video of the touchscreen capabilities of Ubuntu 12.10 on an ASUS VivoBook X202E. When the video was created in late 2012, that was the newest version of Ubuntu.
According to the video author ttoobbeett the touchscreen works great with some exceptions
with the 64 bit version of Ubuntu 12.10. To me the video doesn't reveal what those exceptions are, but I assume that touch support in Ubuntu has improved since then.
Note that this laptop model comes with Windows 8 and is different from the ASUS VivoBook X200CA-DB02, which is available with Linux, but does not have a touchscreen.
