Compal Snapdragon Netbook with Google Android

Nicolas from Tech Video Blog browses various Web sites on a Snapdragon-based netbook by Compal running Google Android in this video from COMPUTEX 2009. Most of the sites are loaded and rendered pretty quickly in about 2 to 3 seconds over HSDPS.

There is also a short video from jkkmobile in which we learn that Compal built a custom user interface on top of Android for this device, which may be available by the end of this year or the beginning of next year in various configurations customized to the needs of different retailers or wireless carriers.
