At the recent Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona the folks over at Netbook News spotted this 10.1" netbook by Russian PC maker DNS. The thin and lightweight (2.4 lbs) device is powered by a 1.5 GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor and Intel GMA 3150 graphics processor and is equipped with 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard disk drive, and a 3 cell 24Whr battery.
The DNS netbook comes with support for WiFi and Bluetooth and runs the Linux based MeeGo operating system, recently ditched by Nokia in favor of Windows 7 and hopefully backed by Intel and other manufacturers in the future as it is a usable and fast alternative to Windows which can be seen in our previous MeeGo coverage.
