In this video Robby Payne of Chrome Unboxed shares his first impressions of the Toshiba CB35-B3340 Chromebook 2, one of the highest specced Chromebooks released to so far.
Robby describes this model as a very sturdy and attractive device, that sports the best screen — an IPS display — of all Chromebooks he has seen, except for the Chromebook Pixel.
With its 2.16 GHz dual-core Intel Celeron N2840 CPU and 4 GB RAM the CB35-B3340 is also one of the more powerful Chromebooks. While there is still potential to improve regarding performance, this Chromebook fares pretty well in Robby's Google+ "benchmark", which is ironically one of the worst sites for Chromebooks.
Robby also mentions that Google currently offers 1 TB Google Drive for free in the first 2 years with the purchase of a new Chromebook (offer valid until January 31, 2015). A nice incentive if you use that service or plan to do so.
