With Chromebooks being a popular choice among buyers these days, more vendors release higher specced laptops running Google's Chrome OS. That's true for Samsung too, who recently announced their upcoming Chromebook 2 series.
The new models will be available with 11.6 and 13.3-inch screens priced at $319 and $399 respectively. So similar to Toshiba and HP Samsung will offer a larger screen device to compete with Ultrabooks.
The 11.6" model is equipped with a 1.9-GHz Samsung Exynos 5 octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM and the 13.3" version with a 2.1-GHz Samsung Exynos 5 octa-core processor and also 4GB of RAM. Both will have about 8 hours of battery life. Shipping will start in April.
In the above video from LAPTOP magazine we get first some impressions of these new devices.
