Getting the best out of the Hosts File

Linux Journal's daily videocast Tech Tip for the Day features tips on how to make your life easier using the powerful tools Linux has to offer. Most of the times the episodes cover basic usage of a shell command or GUI tool, thus long term Linux hackers are certainly not the main target audience of this videocast.

Nonetheless, the tips can be eye openers for anyone, which is especially true for today's episode Fun with Hosts, which demonstrates how to get the best out of the system's hosts file located at /etc/hosts.
