Finally the Chromebook is official. After many rumors and speculations about Google's Chromebook the search giant today announced the first Chromebook from their hardware partners Samsung and Acer.
In this short video the main features of Chromebooks are advertised. Chromebooks boot up quickly in 8 seconds, users are always connected and have the same experience everywhere, the system was designed with security in mind and is automatically updated to the latest Chrome OS version.
Chromebooks will be available online from June 15 in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy and Spain and more countries to follow. In the U.S. Acer and Samsung laptops with Chrome OS will be sold from Amazon and leading retailers in other countries.
