More Chromebooks powered by a Tegra K1 chip are on the horizon, the 2nd iterations of the HP Chromebook 11 and the HP Chromebook 14 follow Acer's example.
The new HP Chromebooks are powered by a 2.16 GHz Intel Celeron N2830 Processor and will be available with 2 or 4 GB RAM as well as 16 GB SSD. Battery life is rated at 8.5 hours. The 14-inch model comes with a TFT (not IPS) tochscreen and is quickly demonstrated in this hands-on video recorded at IFA 2014 by Steve Paine of Chromebook World.
According the HP's press release the HP Chromebook 11 is expected to be available in the United States on Oct. 5, 2014 for a starting price of $279.99 and the HP Chromebook 14 on Oct. 22 for a starting price of $299.99.
