Mozilla Prism is an application for integrating web applications with the desktop. Web apps created with Prism can be accessed like any other desktop application, e.g. via a desktop icon, the system taskbar or dock. Prism apps run separately from the Web browser and can be configured independently.
This video is a brief tutorial on how to create a Website application with Prism under the Jolicloud operating system on an HP Mini 110 netbook. Though the visual quality of the video could certainly be better, you get an idea of how easy it is to create shortcuts to your favorite websites, that can be accessed without launching a Web browser.
