Yet another video from busy Sascha at COMPUTEX 2009 getting his hands on the ECS T800 Netbook that will run the Linux based Android operating system and ship with either a 800 MHz OMAP3 3440 or a 1GHz OMAP3 3450 processor by Texas Instruments (TI).
The ECS T800 is a very small netbook with an 8.1" glossy display weighing only 800 grams (1.76 lbs) and measuring 246 x 121 x 20mm (9.7 x 4.8 x .08inch). It comes with 512 MB DDR RAM, 2x USB 2.0 ports, card reader, headphone jack, and a 2.5" SATA Hard disk drive, and an optional webcam with 0.3 or 1.3MP.
The ECS T800 resembles the Sony VAIO P and will be available in the fourth quarter of 2009 for less than US$500.
