JKK of jkkmobile chats with Warren Coles of Linpus at last month's Intel Developer Forum 2010 about the MeeGo based version of Linpus Linux Lite, demonstrated on an Acer Aspire One netbook.
Linpus for MeeGo adds touch support and lets users switch between two user interfaces, MeeGo and Linpus Simple Mode, simply by clicking on an icon in Myzone.
Moreover Linpus added several enhancements, including fast boot times of less than 10 seconds, additional social networks, namely Flickr and MySpace, a media player capable of streaming video and audio, power management for reduced energy consumption, a network manager supporting more 3G modems, extensive graphics support, and more.
For further information see the Linpus Lite for MeeGo page and the press release announcing the showcase of Linpus Lite for MeeGo at IDF 2010.
