This video by JKKmobile recorded at CeBIT 2010 gives us a taste of Linpus Linux Lite 1.3 running on an Acer Aspire One netbook.
The new version of the Fedora based netbook operating system features a new user interface, that allows users to organize applications in tabs and rearrange them via drag and drop.
Moreover, Linpus Lite 1.3 includes several themes to personalize the UI and offers support for Compiz 3D desktop effects like translucent windows, shadow effects, motion effects and animations. And, as we hear in the video, it comes with support for processors based on Intel's Pine Trail platform.
According to Warren Coles, Linpus Technologies Marketing Director, Linpus Linux Lite 1.3 and its source code will be available for download from the Linpus website by the end of this week.
From what I can see in the video definitely a system to give a try. What do you think?
