This video is a short demonstration of Linux Mint 7 (Gloria) with the XFCE interface running on an ASUS Eee PC 701SD netbook. Linux Mint XFCE is based on the Xubuntu distro which uses the lighweight Xfce desktop environment.
Kathleen Henri, who created the video, stripped down the system to run the barest essential programs. She uninstalled OpenOffice.org in favor of the Abiword word processing program and removed other software, such as Thunderbird and Compiz so that the system runs smoothly on this low power netbook.
