Netbooks seem to be out of fashion but now and then a new device pops up, that fits into the netbook category, especially when tech exhibitions take place. One such device is the Wabook EPC1029 running Android 2.3, that is currently showcased at CeBIT 2012.
Charbax, in his incomparable manner, manages to get all the information you need to know about the EPC1029 in this 4-minute interview recorded at the Wabook booth.
To sum it up in a few words: it's got a 10.1 display, is powered by a 1.2GHz Rockchip RK2918 CPU, comes with 512MB DDR3 RAM, an upgrade to Android 4.0 ICS will be available very soon, and the device costs a mere USD 93 initially. There is, however, one hitch: you have to buy a 1000 units to get one for that price.
