Here is a video featuring the brand new Samsung Series 5 Chromebook being unboxed and booted for the 1st time. After reading product descriptions and watching introductory videos one expects the Chromebook to be fast and easy to use, but when you boot it for the 1st time you'll need a little more patience.
After the 1st boot up, which will take longer than advertised 10s, you have to set up the Chromebook. There will probably be system updates being downloaded and installed automatically, so don't expect to be able to use your new laptop a minute after turning it on for the 1st time.
According to geeknewscentral's accompanying post booting takes just 3-4 seconds after you're done with the initial setup, which is pretty amazing. There'll be more information about the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook in upcoming posts.
