This is a 5-minute review of the Toshiba CB35-C3300 Chromebook, the lower spec and cheaper version of Toshiba's latest Chromebook release. Right in the beginning Matt Elias, who also published a longer written review points out, that performance wise this model is a big improvement compared to its predecessor, mostly due to an upgrade to a Broadwell-generation processor.
The CB35-C3300 also comes with a LED backlit keyboard, the remaining hardware specs basically haven't changed, which means that it continues to have an excellent display. One of the downsides Matt mentions is build quality, especially that the screen hinge has a lot of wobble and the keyboard a lot of flex.
In this price range issues like that are not uncommon, but the display quality and the performance are outstanding, which is why Matt thinks that the Toshiba CB35-C3300 is the optimal Chromebook for most consumers and will be a popular choice among buyers in the coming year.
