This video is a demo of Kubuntu 9.10 Alpha 3 netbook edition run from within VirtualBox. Karmic Koala Alpha 3 comes with the new KDE desktop environment (build on KDE 4.3 RC), which still looks pretty damn good.
Karmic Koala is the first version of Kubuntu to feature a netbook install image, which has different fonts and desktop settings and will have more changes for a better user experience on small devices.
Kubuntu 9.10 includes the Arora Web browser, which is based on the fully standards-compliant WebKit layout engine and features a fast rendering, powerful JavaScript engine. Should be an interesting alternative to Firefox on less powerful devices.
