The Terra A20 is the first netbook by ZaReason, a Linux hardware builder based in Berkeley, California. The Terra A20 has a 10" matte LCD screen and is powered by an 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor. It comes with the Intel GMA 950 chipset, a 640x480 Webcam, 3 USB ports, SD memory card slot, VGA port, Ethernet port, headphone and mic jacks, and a battery that lasts up to 3.5 hrs.
The ARCHOS 10 is a small, light and functional netbook with a 10.2" backlit LED screen, measures 10.2"x7.4"x1.1", and weighs 2.9 pounds. It is powered by an 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, and Intel 945GSE graphics chipset.
The ARCHOS 10 is equipped with 3xUSB 2.0 and 1xVGA port, a card reader (SD/SDHC/MMC/MS/MS PRO), an integrated 1.3 MP webcam, a built-in microphone, 2 stereo speakers, 10/100 M Ethernet controller, and IEEE 802.11b/g WiFi.
Low-end ARM-based netbooks or Smartbooks seem to be a hot trend at COMPUTEX 2009. The Wistron N900z is one such device powered by Freescale's i.MX515 multimedia applications processor. The device introduced in Netbook News's video has an 800 MHz processor, 4GB SSD, Ethernet connector, 4-in-1 card reader, 2 USB ports, and a 3G module.
