Geri Druckman of Linux Journal reviews the Acer Aspire One netbook. Geri first explains the available ports for connecting other devices. One thing Geri extremely loves about this mini laptop is the additional SD card slot that can be used to expand the available hard drive capacity. The cool thing about it is, once the card is plugged in Acer Aspire One will immediately recognize the additional memory and treat it, as if it's part of the hard drive itself.
Geri than talks about the OS and mentions some of the pre-installed software packages. The Linpus Lite operating system desktop screen is divided in 4 major sections: internet, work, fun, and files. Users can customize the applications linked on the desktop, so it becomes very easy to access the most commonly used applications. New applications can be installed via the Fedora repository.
